Today’s treat is an interview with Michele Gettins. Michele isn’t just a legend who’s managed to pull marketing up to its rightful place in the boardroom - she’s also my former boss! So I am well aware of her passion, her drive, and the pride she takes in her job.
She’s also a warm and friendly person, which makes her wonderful to work for and brilliant to interview.
Currently, Michele is the Chief Marketing Officer for Iamproperty. She’s worked wonders in the Iamproperty marketing department, and has achieved the dream of pretty much every corporate marketer - she sits on the board.
We all know that marketing is generally undervalued and misunderstood - so how has Michele managed to convince Iamproperty that marketing deserves a place on the board?
