I have a treat for you all this week – an interview with Tim Bond, Head of Insight at the DMA (Data & Marketing Association).
Tim comes from a background in social sciences. This gives him some seriously valuable insights into the dynamics between brands, marketers, and customers.
He’s used his social science training to great advantage during his marketing career, executing some incredible projects and delivering razor-sharp tactical insights across many sectors. His campaigns have been shortlisted for several awards, including CIPR Excellent, MRS, PRWeek, and SABRE.
As Head of Insight at the DMA he works to develop actionable insights for data-driven marketers. If you’re not sure what that means, don’t worry – we’ll get into it in the interview! He is firmly committed to putting the customer first, and is a huge asset to the DMA’s customer-centric philosophy.
In the interview, we discuss his advice with aspiring marketers, why only truly customer-centric brands will survive in the post-pandemic world, why GDPR isn’t a dirty phrase, and much more! You can watch the interview on the Let’sTalk Strategy YouTube channel, or listen via Soundcloud.
